Isopropyl Alcohol (also known as Isopropanol) is a non-potable alcohol, suitable for industrial cleaning and formulating where a waterless environment is desired. It is primarily used in the printing industry as a component in fountain solutions.

Isopropyl alcohol is one of the most versatile solvents you can have around ideal for cleaning lenses, mirrors, glass, keyboards, computer screens and equipment. It has many uses such as surface cleaning and prep, contact cleaning, head cleaning, cleaning of electronics and PCB materials, stain removal in the laundry etc.

It’s also a medical-grade surface disinfectant.

A grade of 90% – 100% offers a greater evaporation rate (dries faster) and is suitable for the majority of industrial users and cleaners. It is often used for disinfecting, window cleaning, stainless steel cleaning and to kill bacteria. The more basic percentage is 70% which is a lower grade that is less harsh when applied to the skin.
